The Summit Food & Spirits Restaurant opened in 1990 in the historic Wylie-Augurs building which was constructed in 1905.

Situated in the heart of downtown , Summit Food & Spirits Restaurant offers an enjoyable dining experience that is truly unique to Chester. The restaurant, located in the historic Wylie Building, is known as THE place for a business lunch, special dinner, or a romantic evening. Enjoy casual dining with specialty sandwiches and chicken wings or treat yourself to fine dining with fresh seafood, steaks grilled to perfection, tantalizing appetizers, and delicious desserts.

Large groups and groups requiring a private room are invited to dine in one of our three private rooms, which can host dinner for 4 to 150 guests.

The focal point of the Chester Historic District is The Hill, a triangular-shaped plaza on an eminence at the center of the city, around which the original settlement grew, and which now includes the city hall and a relatively well-preserved collection of late nineteenth and early twentieth century commercial buildings. Our restaurant is located in the tallest building on “the hill”, hence the name, The Summit.
